Description

Found in original Decca sleeve, this 78 features the Louvin Brothers performing Alabama and Seven Year Blues.  Both sides in excellent condition, perhaps a faint scratch on clean shellac, will grade in the range of VG++ to NM.  From the internet:
"This is a brother-harmony masterpiece - after cutting one single for Apollo in 1947, the Louvins landed at Decca in 1949 where they cut this incredible single. 'Alabama' reflects the influence of the Blue Sky Boys on Charlie and Ira while 'Seven Year Blues' echos 'way back to the deep well of mountain music that helped form the Louvin Brothers' sound. Truly spellbinding."
