John La Porta Quintet  DEBUT DLP 10 (USA) mono red label with deep groove - issued in 1955 -  10"  /  25 cm.
John LaPorta : clarinet, alto sax - Lou Mucci : trumpet - Wally Cirillo : piano - Richard Carter : bass - Eddie Shaughnessy : drums Side A : Fluid drive - Right around home - The old man's touch Side B : This hectic life - Quarto - Fringe area All compositions by John La Porta 
Visual grading : record is VG+ still much lustre has few light marks on both sides. Clean labels with light spindle wear Playing grading : record is Good+ to VG- on side A because plays with loud sound but has a continuous background noise throughout mostly audible on quieter parts. However this background noise is always below music's level Side B plays much better almost VG+ with light short occasional background noise Cover grading : cover is VG to VG+ has ligh wear to edges, corners and to spine. Top right corner has been repaired for a short seam split. Back cover has some age yellowing around the edges and has a light trace of sticker's removal on top back left corner
