Description
My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Very clean original first pressing in near mint condition. Old eBay prices: £150 + £202 + $211. First pressing means the label etiquettes show catalogue number S 3. As you know later 'Chiswick' pressings were born with catalogue number NS 3. You will not find a cleaner one. The picture cover is as thin as a roll-up paper but this one is a tip-top sleeve. A real all-time classic from Maggie Thatcher country, the land of ugly Fish’n’Chips, great Pubs and loud little punk records. Here it is, the legendary brickwall sleeve. With the band is Joe Strummer of the CLASH. This model will be the showpiece of any serious CLASH collection. Released on ‘Chiswick’ records in 1976. This rarity was re-released in 1983. Born on the ‘Big Beat’ label in a different jacket and these are far more common. This rarity was released on the back of Strummer's fame. The A-sider ‘K-K-Keys To Your Hea-Hea-Heart’ is an excellent melody-maker, topped with the fantastic voice of Mister Clash. The flip titled ‘5 Star Rock’n’Roll Petrol’ is a winner too.
Condition / Zustand: M-/EX (very clean, near mint, sehr gut erhalten)
