This album was the fourth release for the now stellar band. It was let loose on the British public on April the 16th 1966 and onto the US public by the 20th of June 1966 (by London Records, rather than the Decca label).
This album was the very first album to contain ONLY compositions of Jagger and Richards-so this proved to be a breakthrough for the band. Reaching number 1 in the UK and number 2 in the USA (again with different track listings for UK and US releases).

151g QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT
VG(-). I have just given her a listen to and WOW-how raw! Turn it right up and clear yer ears out!! There are needle marks to the vinyl, with the majority being on side 1.
Side 1 played through with some background noise and pops, which I am sure will be helped with a professional clean.
Side 2 had less background noise and sounded lovely and raw.
NO SKIPS OR JUMPS
Check out the DEEP bass when 'Under My Thumb' kicks in.
FLAT as the day she was born.
ROCK ON!!

Labels: EX-. There are just light spindle marks visible but very little hole wear.

Deep and clear Decca grooved UNBOXED label....one of the 1st of the press!

Sleeve: EX!! As you can see by the detailed images, the cover is in SUPERB condition.
The back card is only very lightly discolured through the passage of time....Nothing bad at all.
I also noticed the price of 32/7, lightly written in pencil to the back..I haven't removed it as I quite like the nostalgia of it, but it could EASILY be removed with a rubber/eraser.
There is also the original Boots The Chemist little sticker to the bottom left corner (again, EASILY removed)..This copy was originally sold in Nottingham, UK ;)

**ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG WHILE**

Inner: EX-. It is the ORIGINAL DECCA inner, with the dotted boxes to the front and "Made In England" to the bottom right corner as well as a very early "British Patent No. 800513 & 973939" to the bottom left corner.
NO splits to the seams, just discolouration from age.
Certainly done her job by looking after this record all this time.
