This album was the fourth release for the now stella band. It was let loose on the British public on April the 16th 1966 and onto the US public by the 20th of June 1966 (by London Records, rather than the Decca label).
This album was the very first album to contain ONLY compositions of Jagger and Richards-so this proved to be a breakthrough for the band. Reaching number 1 in the UK and number 2 in the USA (again with different track listings for UK and US releases).

 I have just given her a professional clean and then listened to, all the way through and WOW-how raw! Turn it right up and clear yer ears out!! There are light marks to the vinyl, but nothing to make her jump or skip.
She played through with some very light and only occasional background noise and pops, which was really only heard inbetween tracks and occasionally on the quieter sections of tracks-but nothing offensive at all.
NO SKIPS OR JUMPS
Check out the DEEP bass when 'Under My Thumb' kicks in.
FLAT as the day she was born.
ROCK ON!!

 As you can see by the detailed images, the cover is in a solid state and free from splits.
Front laminated.
The back card is slightly discolured through the passage of time and dirt!...Please see the image provided....Nothing bad at all.
There are a fair amount of small fingers of spidering emanating from the seams as well as some wrinkles near the opening.

Inner:
EX+/Near Mint!
 It is the ORIGINAL poly-lined,  DECCA inner, with the  stars to the front and "Made In England" to the bottom left corner. NO splits to the seams, barely any discolouration from age either!
Certainly done her job by looking after this record all this time.
Also carries the much rarer and early 'FOREIGN PATENTS PENDING' text.
