Description

This is a RARE Lot of 12 Vintage 1940’s Large 16” Grace Gibson Radio Productions Radio Broadcast Transcription Records titled “Doctors Courageous”. Made by Grace Gibson Radio Productions of Hollywood Calif., the 16” records include; 8 discs marked “Program 41 Frederick Banting / Program 42 George Carver”, 2 discs marked “Program 35 Manfred Sakel / Program 36 Edward Davidson – Flash Burns”, & 2 discs marked on one side only “Program 36 Edward Davidson”. The 1st 8 black vinyl records are in good condition, with some surface wear & scratches from light to heavier on some. The latter 4 discs have heavy wear & scratches, and I don’t know how well they might play. The labels also have some wear or glue stains, and some have nicks along their edges. Some of the run-off margins have grease pencil notations about dates they were played, which on at least one is dated 1947. Even though the labels all indicate the same show for the 1st 8, there are subtle differences in the labels. Please see my other Rare 16” Transcription Records, also currently on Ebay!
