Here is an interesting and rare offering, a group of a dozen of the Little Wonder records PLUS an original shipping box from Sears c.1919 for these records. The Little Wonder records represent an interesting marketing idea, make a small record (5 1/2" diameter) and put a song on one side and sell it real cheap. A lot were sold between 1914 and 1923 when these were issued and they're not just for kids. Most are the main stream of music for the times and were performed by the big name artists, though I don't recall seeing any with the performers name listed.

There are several good web sites that talk about these little gems and you will also see shipping boxes like this one. You can see a similar box on this Little Wonder website HERE. Apparently, these boxes were designed to ship 12 records. The records are fairly easy to come by but the shipping boxes are quite rare. Great opportunity to acquire one. These 12 records were found in this box from the estate.

Included in this lot of records are:
34 (cracked), 201, 218 (cracked), 634, 635, 646, 660, 664, 702, 715, 753 (cracked), & 948. There records that were found in this box dated from 1914 to 1919, with none past 1919. SHIPPING WEIGHT IS ABOUT 4 POUNDS AND COST WILL BE CALCULATED AT THAT WEIGHT.
