Laser created edge cuts; I’ve found it best to peel the protective coating from the center hole outward. 

If you’ve worked with laser cutters, you may recall that the laser may create a ‘flash’ on the bottom of the material. There is no ‘flash’ on the bottom of the polycarbonate once the protective cover is peeled away!
