Offered is a 12" unissued, single-sided white label, 78rpm Victor vinyl test pressing (matrix C-4833), sung by famed American soprano Ellen Beach Yaw.

Recorded on September 25, 1907 but never issued, she sings a stirring rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner."

Miss Yaw had an extraordinary vocal range, and was reportedly the only known soprano of her era who could sing and sustain the D above high D.

The record is in excellent-plus (E+) condition.
