13th FLOOR ELEVATORS The Psychedelic Sounds of
INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS "MONO L.P. - IA - No. 1"
I HAVE NO IDEA WHY, BUT EBAY HAS THIS AS 2013 w A UPC NUMBER. IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO GET RID OF EITHER. REST ASSURED IT IS THE ORIGINAL ‘66 RELEASE, EMPHATICALLY NOT A REISSUE.
The first psych record in many people's opinion, this is a first pressing of the Mono original on International Artists. The notorious Leland Rogers may have been a crook, but he sure picked a hell of a band to kick off his label. Pretty much everyone's introduction to the inimitable Roky, the album simply rules--but you knew that already.
Grading conservatively at VG+/VG+. You can see the pics for yourself. LP has superficial scuffs from sleeve removal, and that's about it. Plays beautifully, retains a healthy amount of gloss for a rec made in '66. This is my own personal copy. Hate to see it go, but all money earned is going toward funding my start-up publishing company.
Feel free with any questions, and international buyers are always welcome.
