Description
Up for auction is a first Stereo pressing of 13th Floor Elevators “The Psychedelic Sounds”.
This is a very important record in the history of psychedelic rock, especially in the Texas psych scene of the 1960’s. For more information about the lead singer Roky Erickson and the band, I recorded the documentary “You’re Going to Miss Me”.
This record:
The record is visually graded as strong VG or a weak VG+ due to very light scuffs that are not feelable and will not skip. There is also a fingerprint. I do not clean high value records like this because some people have their own specific way of cleaning records but the fingerprint will likely come off easily with one cleaning.
The jacket is VG with some ring wear, a ding/split on one of the seams (pictured).
Shipping in the continental US is free. I will securely package record in a LP mailer with the record removed from the jacket and cardboard pads on either side. As soon as the item is paid for, I will package and ship.
International shipping is through USPS First Class International. Depending on your country, this is generally about $20 not including duty fees at your customs.
No returns are accepted.
