This is my personal Motown LP/Album & 12"(Singles/Maxis) VINYL Collection (over whelming majority are ALBUMS), you are very welcome to come and view the records

they are on purpose built shelves in my lounge, the majority are in plastic sleeves

they are not in any particular order from the last time I moved 6 years ago I just emptied them from their boxes onto the shelves with the best intention of putting them back in an A-Z, I do not have any lists, and their will be some that are DUPLICATED, and there will be others that are Mono and or Stereo or a different variation

most are the original issue, there will be probably some demos, and there will be a few reissues

please DO NOT ASK me if a particular Album is there, this is sold as a COLLECTION, so I WILL NOT search through them for a particular album or GRADE a specific album

I counted around 300 on one shelf, there are 5 shelves and some freestanding on floor, so there are at least 1,400 (to be safe) and at the most 1,500, and are from the 1960s/70s/80s, not sure if any later? probably the MotorCity ones

There are probably 50/50 UK to USA releases, and there will be some from other countries such as Canada, Europe and Asia

majority are on the main Tamla/Motown label, there will be Gordy, Soul, not sure if any VIP, and related labels such as Rare Earth, Black Forum, Prodigal, Natural Resources, Mowest and probably other labels from the Motown stable + The Supremes on Stateside (no others), NO ORIOLE

there will also be other labels if a Motown act left or before they joined Motown and were on another label they will be there & of course some MOTORCITY, The Four Tops for instance there will be Probe, ABC Dunhill, Casablanca as well as Motown & Tamla Motown

there will also be the budget labels when Motown artists appeared on them

there will be Compilation albums, and albums that contain more than one LP

there will NOT be for instance other Soul artists or Labels if they are not Motown related, or a Motown DISTRIBUTED label, there a few BBC Motown Albums

this is a great collection, that you can use to start your Album collection, a GREAT start, or upgrade some of your existing albums, fill in gaps, or just enjoy the great Music

there will be and there will be others not stated here that only released say one album;

CONDITION; see scans, too many Vinyl records and covers to Grade, there will be all grades from Fair & VG-/VG, to mainly VG+/Excellent up to some Sealed Albums, these are all records that I have collected over past 40 years, from all over the UK and in the USA, if it was MOTOWN or related I bought it

UK POSTAGE

OUTSIDE of UK please ask but will cost you a fortune and will have to be fully INSURED

ITEMS can be PICKED up by ARRANGEMENT or I can arrange delivery (please ask for quote before bidding) to most parts of the UK within say a 120 miles radius of Northampton (or meet you say halfway) if you are in counties such as Devon and Cornwall, deepest Kent, or north of Lancs/Yorks please ask before you bid to see what is possible
