Description

Two 16" transcription records. NBC Screen Director's Playhouse, a popular radio program in the 1950s presenting abridged radio versions of motion picture scripts.  1 hour length total. First airing 1951.  "Back Street" starring Charles Boyer and Mercedes McCambridge. Excellent romantic drama. With commercials. Records are Lacquer on aluminum base. Completely playable with good results on 16" transcription turntable. Both discs checked on 16" turntable with 3 mil stylus, and both records exhibit very good sound.  Original recording also available online.
