Description

I will audition each Berliner I sell, and give my observations in each auction. Because of varying, non-standardized manufacturing conditions, the records vary as greatly as snow flakes. I will do my best to write a complete assessment for each. I playback with a 3.0 mil sapphire stylus. Varying the stylus size can yield better playback results.

Berliner 1746, MATRIX DATED Jul 10, 1897. Record can do with a cleaning. Plays quite nicely! Grooves look great. Few random marks and light scuffs. Performance plays back like a V with a 3.0 mil stylus. PLEASE INSPECT PHOTO.

I audition all records COMPLETELY (and several times!) on a modern turntable with a lightweight sapphire stylus. RECORDS WILL BE PACKED PROPERLY WITH NEW PACKING MATERIALS between several sheets of cardboard, surrounded by packing peanuts, in a sturdy box.
