Description
I will audition each Berliner I sell, and give my observations in each auction. Because of varying, non-standardized manufacturing conditions, the records vary as greatly as snow flakes. I will do my best to write a complete assessment for each. I playback with a 3.0 mil sapphire stylus. Varying the stylus size can yield better playback results.

Berliner 537ZZ, MATRIX DATED AUG 13, 1897. Record has wear in intro grooves, dusty grooves in need of cleaning, scuffing and pressing bumps. Performance plays back like a G+ with a 3.0 mil stylus with surface noise, one needle drop pit that skips sometimes, plays through other times. Would probably not skip if i have a more modern turntable with better tone arm adjustment. Pressing bumps throw my cartridge. Song is understandable. PLEASE INSPECT PHOTO.

I audition all records COMPLETELY (and several times!) on a modern turntable with a lightweight sapphire stylus. RECORDS WILL BE PACKED PROPERLY WITH NEW PACKING MATERIALS between several sheets of cardboard, surrounded by packing peanuts, in a sturdy box.
