I am currently selling a series of great Richard Wagner and classic European 78 rpm orchestral recordings on all the great European labels:

The young Caruso is very different from the later Caruso: A light, lyrical tenor with a brillian heroic voice and a glistening top. The acoustics of these recordings are breathtaking, immediate, all later recordings are muddy in comparison.
Condition: VERY GOOD MINUS, undamaged, but greying on some grooves, a few open blisters, plays with light surface noise, and only mildest distortions, a few clicks
Coming to the " Tosca " excerpts, one recalls the bitter disappointment of Caruso when in the autumn of 1899 Puccini took from him the opportunity of creating the role of Cavaradossi on the occasion of the opera's world premiere (January 1900) and gave it to Emilio de Marchi. At the time this seemed to Caruso to be a serious setback. How small a matter it was to appear within a few months ! E lucevan le stelle (52063), which has never been issued here, is well recorded, but I prefer the phrasing in both the earlier and later versions. In the 1904 one Caruso's interpretation sometimes has the effect of drawing attention from the music to himself. An example of this occurs in his singing of the passage Le belle forme disciogliea din veli, where the long-held notes seem to lessen the pathos of the aria.
Caruso's first Recondita armonia (52191) is taken at a slower tempo than in 1909. Owing no doubt to the recording, the voice sounds darker and heavier than in the final version, but its warmth and richness are enchanting to the ear. The closing passages especially are wonderfully sung with a full-throated ease which I think even surpasses its successor.

Records will be packed safely between corrugated cardboard in a sturdy box with plenty of padding for safe shipment.
Shipment is usually Media Mail, unless another service is requested. Shipping is at your risk, I will be happy to insure items at your cost.
I charge actual postage plus a small fee for packing materials
As always, I guarantee your satisfaction. If you don't like the item, just return it, and I will refund the full purchase price.

Prices below are for regular 78 rpm records. Up to about 5 records, I will ship Edison Discs for the same rates. Above that and for international shipments, it will be actual weight plus a small packing charge (1-2$)

Prices below are for regular 78 rpm records. For Edison Discs in international shipments, it will charge for the actual weight plus a small packing charge (1-2$) - for small quantities, it will not be much different from the charge for regular 78s.

Be aware that US Postal Rates can be high. Here are some examples.
Your best bet is the Large Priority box, everything that fits into a 12"x12"x5 1/2" box up to 20 pounds ships for 60$ (35$ Canada) worldwide.
However, I can get competitive rates from FedEx and the US Postal service for any kind of parcel weight
