Description

I have up for auction a record (78) on the black and gold patent VICTOR RECORD label from the very early 1900s, last patent date of 1908!  It is #16294 and on one side is Frank Kennedy, humorous monologue with crowd effect and selection is "Schultze on Woman's Suffrage". Other side by Miss Jones and Mr. Spencer, Rural Sketch with orchestra and also vocal by Ada Jones; selection entitled "Si Perkins' Barn Dance". The record is in very good condition for the most part, not a lot of wear and scuffs and scratches are mainly light; there is a circular blotch during second half of Jones/Spencer side (see 5th picture) that will cause surface noise as needle goes over it but surprisingly not overbearing; still plays loud and clear.
