U.S. shipping only on this one. Here's a 1926 Country 78 by Charlie Poole With The North Carolina Ramblers.Columbia label # 15099-D.Songs titled White House Blues on one side with the song Monkey On A String on the other side.White House Blues is my favorite of the two on this record.Song is about Williams McKinleys assassination. The White House Blues side has ten very light scratches and seven light non feelable scratches.Has a couple of tiny feelable scratches and a one inch scratch that is lightly feelable.Side looks a lot better than it sounds as most of the scratches are very light only.Side has some light scuffing.Has one very small extremely light dimple on grooves at about the 11 O' Clock area of record.Small and extremely light only so does not affect play at all.Side has groove wear but still has nice shine. The Monkey On A String side has ten very light scratches and four light non feelable scratches.Has six small feelable scratches near beginning of song.Five of the feelable scratches are only 1/8th of an inch long and one is 1/4th of an inch long. These may have been caused by scuffing. This side also has two small dimple spots. One is about 1/2 inch into song near the 5 O' Clock area and the other is near edge on trail in area not on grooves at the 6 O' Clock area. Both are small and neither one affects play at all.Side also has some scuffing. This side not quite as nice as the other side. Most of the grooves on this side are dark and have good shine but side also has some individual grooves showing graying. Both sides play tested and play very nicely. The White House Blues side plays Beautifully with a light background hiss.I count a total of two ticks and two pops during the whole song.Song plays Nice, loud and clear. The Monkey On A String side plays very nicely also with a light background hiss.Has a light heartbeat sound for approximately 12 revolutions a little after song begins to play.I counted a total of three ticks only.No pops at all.Plays nice, loud and clear.I'll be listing a few other Country 78s from the Columbia D 15000 series. Please check if you like.I can also combine multiple 78 auctions to save on shipping. This record will be wrapped Extremely Well by placing the record in a thick cardboard sandwich with bubble wrap around it.It then will be placed in a large 12 x12x 8 Priority box with plenty of padding inside. All I have at this time are USPS Priority boxes so no shipping outside of the U.S.
