Description
Offered here is an original 16" 1935 Thesaurus radio transcription disc #124 featuring the famous 1935 recordings of Benny Goodman's orchestra as the Rhythm Makers Orchestra. This is a fairly unusual transcription as each track has the track ID letter scratched into the dead wax between the songs. Haven't seen that before. There are a TON of later reproductions of these recordings on LP and CD, but this is the original! Quite hard to find and sought after by audiophiles.
This disc shows significant wear but still plays very well. Listen to the samples below and judge for yourself.
