Description
1939 Marlene Dietrich Decca 78 Album. Original! Incredible Condition! Three 78RPM records. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
“Decca Presents Marlene Dietrich. New Universal star in a collection of songs from her new Universal pictures, and her other favorites. Decca Album No. 115”
I don’t have a 78 player - but all six sides look to be in pristine condition! Completely glossy, no scratches. Take a look!
Album cover is in great shape for its age. A little banged up but still looks great. And inside, the paper sleeves are still crisp and rigid, doesn’t look like this album was opened up very much at all. I know for certain the last time they were played was in the mid-‘70’s, and only once or twice then!
Songs:
I’ve Been In Love Before
You Do Something to Me
You’ve Got That Look
You Go to My Head
Falling in Love Again
The Boys in the Backroom
Accompanied by the Victor Young Orchestra!
Also includes December ‘73 review clipping from SF Chronicle of a Dietrich Venetian Room performance.
Album has FAINT musty smell. I myself have bad mold/mildew allergies and am not bothered at all by this particular smell. But I am mentioning it in case you need to know.
US Shipping only please.
