Description

Here is a rare 12 inch acetate radio aircheck from late 1939. Contains several on-air commercials including one for Glick Beer. One side is Minneapolis, Minnesota radio personality Naph Conner broadcasting the news. The entire broadcast is of the escalating war in Europe, with references to the German stronghold on Warsaw, Poland, the French resistance, and Nazi aggression in Switzerland. Fascinating time capsule! Disc is a bit worn and scratchy but does play. With noise reduction can be cleaned up nicely. Labels have tears.
