Description

Pictured above is a very hard to find Original 1940's Copper STAMPER master record.  It is about 17" in diameter and in very good condition with a bright copper finish.  This "Stamper" record was used as a master to press records.  There appears to be two tracks on the record, one 10 mins. long and the other 5 mins.  The artist, as written in negative on the center of the the record, is DALE SHEARS.  He was from Struthers, Ohio which is a suburb of Youngstown.  Mr. Shears had a Music Company and Studio in the 1940's there in which he produced music and published Music Lesson books that can be found on eBay.  The "stamper" record is not meant to be played on a turntable and was only used for making records.  The last picture was taken held to a mirror so you can read the negative print.  It is a great collectible and will make a nice addition to your collection or just hanging on the wall.  I purchased this from a Youngstown estate about 20 years ago.  Thanks for looking.
