Description
For your consideration is this 78 rpm record that was produced in 1941, Victor 27734, presenting President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's address to congress on December 8, 1941, the day after Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor. It was in this address that he referred to the attack as "A Date Which Will Live in Infamy" and requested a declaration of war against Japan.
The photos should substantiate the record's condition - I lack the means of playing records, so can't attest to its playability, but it should play well. The grooves all look good, but I have not attempted to clean it, which it needs, for fear of doing the wrong thing.
