Description

1944 Academy Awards Ceremony

Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Barry Fitzgerald, Ingrid Bergman

1.  Originally broadcast by the NBC Blue Network on April 11, 1945, the ceremony has been transcribed onto four 12" acetate discs, recorded at 33 rpm.  The labels bear the company imprint of "Studio Recordings, Inc." but there is no address or city given.  These discs have some light surface rubs and scuffs, so they are graded V+ (which is one grade below E-).  There is no chemical breakdown of the acetate surfaces, so aside from the occasional pops and tics, they play quite well.
