"San Francisco Opera" Radio Show Transcription Discs. One complete 60 minute radio program on these three 16 inch, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm discs. These discs were issued to radio stations for broadcast only and not available to the general public, very rare!
"San Francisco Opera" radio broadcast from October 18, 1945 originating from The War Memoria Opera House in San Francisco, with a cast of leading singers from The Metropolitan Opera Association in a performance of the 3rd act of "Der Rosenkavalier" by Richard Strauss

The orchestra is conducted by George Sebastian
Alfred V. Frankenstein, music critic of The San Francisco Chronicle, gives an excellent introduction and sets the scene for the 3rd act of this opera
Discs are in Excellent- condition with Excellent- sound, beautiful discs!
