Description

Here is a RARE Single from my collection offered up for auction: AN ORIGINAL 1947 10"  78 rpm single record: The Darby Hicks Quartette featuring CHARLES MINGUS on upright bass, Buddy Collette on sax ,Buddy Harper on guitar, and vocalists Corolyn Richards and "The Lead Man".  in GREAT playing condition! Released on INDIGO Records 100. The heavy shellac disc rates a strong VG to VG+, is still glossy and clean, does have some light marks on both sides, nothing you can feel or that is heavy, has little effect on the sound. Has been PLAY TESTED and still plays with VERY GOOD sound quality, only a few light pops and minimal surface noise. A very enjoyable listen.  There is NO RESERVE PRICE! You can bid as an AUCTION (it could go higher $ if others bid too) or you can own it now with my fair BUY IT NOW price. Will be shipped FREE in a protective plastic sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number. Check my seller list for more rare Rock n Roll gems! Thanks for looking!
