Description

This vintage 78 RPM single features blues legend Lightning Hopkins performing "Katie Mae Blues" and "Mean Old Twister". The record is an original first pressing on the ALADDIN label, with a 10" black shellac disc. Hopkins' signature Texas blues style is on full display, making this a must-have for any serious blues collector.  Record is visually about V+ condition with nice gloss light wear and an edge chip that does not affect playback .. right up to the first groove or two on the Katie Mae side, and not to grooves on the Twister side.  Plays V+ or better a solid listen loud with nice presence.
