Description

This is a lot of eight radio transcription and "self-recorded" discs.  Each record is 12 inches in diameter.  The recording speed of the transcriptions is 33⅓ rpm and the "self-recorded" sides appear to be 78 rpm.

  • B-9 "Bunny Berigan Show" - Label Side: Someone is pretending to broadcast of live remote of Bunny Berigan and Benny Goodman music.  The Baltimore radio station WFBR is mentioned.  Recorded about 1948.  Approximately 5 minutes.  No Label Side: Six short preannouncements for the November 30, 1947, Washington Redskins vs. Boston Yanks football game.
  • B-6 Martin Edwards news broadcast April 12, 1949.  WBMD Baltimore.  Approximately 5 minutes.  One-side only.
  • American Broadcasting Company "Redskins Preannouncements" - November 28, 1948.  Six short pre-announcements, recorded November 28th, for a Washington Redskins game to be played against the Los Angeles Rams on December 5th.  One-side only.
  • B-8 - American Broadcasting Company "Redskins Preannouncements," October 26, 1947.  Five short pre-announcements, recorded October 26, 1947, for a Washington Redskins game to be played against the Philadelphia Eagles November 2, 1947.  The opposite side has people pretending to do a quiz show.
  • B-5 - American Broadcasting Company "Redskins Preannouncements," October 12, 1947.  Five short pre-announcements, recorded October 12, 1947, for a Washington Redskins game to be played against the Green Bay Packers October 19, 1947.  The opposite side appears to be a news broadcast from WANN, Annapolis.
  • B-7 - Martin Edwards news broadcast.  One side only. 
  • B-10 - "Disc Jockey Show." Martin Edwards and Dan Cohan pretending to broadcast a DJ show from WFAG in "Edco, Pennsylvania."  Opposite side has five short preannouncements for a November 23, 1947, football game between the Washington Redskins and the Chicago Cardinals.
  • Damaged disc, seemingly unplayable.
