1950s DECCA 45 RPM record featuring music by Alfred Apaka - with Danny Stewart's Hawaiians.  Songs included are "Beyond the Reef" and "I will Remember You".  This record is NEW - NEVER PLAYED - with original Decca paper sleeve.  This Decca record label was used from 1954-1960. 
ALFRED AHOLO APAKA, JR. (1919-1960) (born in Honolulu, Hawaii) was a Hawaiian singer whose romantic baritone voice was closely identified with Hawaii between the late 1940s and the early 1960s.  He was arguable the foremost interpreter of Hapa haole music, which melded Hawaiian music with traditional pop arrangements and English lyrics to convey Polynesian imagery and themes.
