Description
1950's Unissued ten inch Kiosque D'Orphee Pressed Acetate (without catalogue number) French Piano Recital of the compositions of the great pre war Toul Organist Joseph Oury, played by his star pupil Anne Marie Beuchon Collavet, signed to the corner of the pasted on details Anne M Collavet. Oury was born in 1852, enjoying a long life through to 1949, and so it is fitting that he composed in the typical impressionist style of the prime of his life, with titles to match. No recordings appear to exist of the master himself, but here is the next best thing; Anne Marie Beuchon-Collavet has a lightness of touch and natural musicality that we all search for in French pianists from the middle of the last century. It is almost a crime that no regular issue of this came about, but for some lucky piano lover, here is a chance to own a genuine rarity. How many other copies might exist?. There is every chance you could count them on the fingers of one hand, it could even by now, fifty years later, be unique.
Excellent all round.
Nice singular collection of Chamber Lp's this week listed at the same time as this.
Take a look at the other Lp's in my list this week as there are many pre stereo LXT's, Nixas and similar, plus 1960's stereo from one very nice collection, also strong on rare chamber lp's.
Feel free to combine shipping for great postage deals.
This is one of some very exciting classical rarities in my list this week, Early mono & stereo, violin cello piano and major label desirables. They are all well worth a look and a bid, same low start no reserve on everything regardless of value.
Single lp's ship to the US for $8 air. Asia is $10, Europe $5 and Uk £2. Multiple wins vastly reduces the cost per item, and with 10 wins or more I subsidise the postage.
NO RESERVE
