1952 HOUND DOG 78 RECORD BIG MAMA THORNTON
You are viewing a nice, original 1952 Peacock 78 rpm record of Big Mama Thornton performing Hound Dog. It's not warped, cracked, or damaged in any way, but there are quite a few surface scratches and some wear on the label. In no way am I offering this 59 year old record as being in excellent condition, but it is in very good condition for its age. I tested it and it plays exactly as designed, with no skipping or jumping. I feel that it could use a thorough cleaning by someone that knows what he or she is doing. If you need additional information or photos, feel free to contact me. View My Feedback, bid in confidence, and thanks for looking...
In order to promote a safer environment for buyers and sellers and to abide by eBay policy, I prefer payment through PayPal. If you are a new eBay member and have no feedback, or have an unconfirmed address, please contact me prior to bidding. I would appreciate payment within 3 days of auction closing. If you need additional time to transfer funds, etc., feel free to contact me and I will work with you on payment arrangements.
I make every attempt to ship the next day after payment, but my full time job sometimes delays me. This being said, you can rest assured that all purchased items will be shipped within a maximum of 3 business days after payment is received. In order to keep your shipping costs to a minimum, I use USPS Parcel Post or UPS ground as my main shipping methods. If you prefer a faster or different method or provider, I will be happy to accommodate your request. When leaving feedback, please consider the method of shipping, before completing the DSR ratings. I take much pride in my feedback rating and there are times when I have absolutely no control over shipping delays.
I offer a money back guarantee on practically every item I sell. On the few occasions an item is listed as a restoration project or for parts, I will clearly state this fact and will offer it as-is, with no returns. In the unlikely event you would like to return an item, I would greatly appreciate your contacting me as soon as possible. You will be responsible for return shipping and will have up to 21 days to return it. Once I receive the returned item, I will immediately refund your full purchase price, plus your initial shipping charges. I sell many items for friends and family members and will not release their funds, until I'm absolutely certain that you are pleased with our transaction. Once you've received your item and you are happy with your purchase, I would greatly appreciate it if you would take just a moment and leave 5 Stars Positive Feedback. I will then know I've fulfilled my obligation to you and will be able to release the previous owner's money to him or her.
I enjoy buying and selling on eBay and although eBay is not my main source of income, I do attempt to handle each and every transaction in a polite, professional manner. Many of my listings are for friends or family members, but you can rest assured that I describe each and every item exactly as I see it, including any flaws or issues that I feel may be of concern to you.
In the unlikely event you experience a problem with your item or transaction, you can contact me through eBay. I check my email and eBay account throughout the day and will get back with you in a timely manner.
