NOTES: Here's one that books pretty high in the jazz catalogues. It's an original pressing, with the deep groove, David Stone Martin trumpeter label. Not only is this a classic bebop LP that is very important in the history of the music, it is a very nice example in excellent condition -- very, very solid indeed.
The very shiny, highly glossy disc plays wonderfully, with no skips or repeating sections. Any background noise is sure to be the result of its having been pressed during pre-audiophilia -- over fifty years ago.
The labels are perfect, and free of writing, stickers, or other damage.
The jacket-- with its superb David Stone Martin cover artwork -- has no splits, no real ring wear to speak of, owing to the heavy duty construction. There are a couple light corner dinks and a little edge wear along each seam, but no writing, water damage, mildew, mold, bug droppings, nothing. This is a real nice jacket.
Overall, this piece is a definite very good plus, and will continue to grow in value over time until it becomes a priceless, irreplaceable antique. Don't miss out on your chance to get it cheap from Plumb Loco Records!
