Label: Prestige (PRLP 214), New York, 1955

 

Description: 10” Vinyl LP; yellow labels with black lettering with 446 W. 50th St. address; four tracks; mono; deep groove; engineered by Rudy Van Gelder; “RVG” etched into the run-off wax. The players on this album are: Bob Brookmeyer, Jimmy Raney, Teddy Kotick, and Mel Lewis.

 

Condition: Light foxing to the record sleeve with a bit of edge wear to one corner; overall the sleeve is in Very Good to Very Good+ condition. The label shows a slight bit of spindle wear. The record has been play tested. The vinyl shows some slight scuffing and streaking but retains a strong luster and plays through with a minimum of surface noise. Overall the disk sounds great and remains in Very Good+ to Excellent condition. (Please see photos).
