Early example of Andy Warhol's record cover art

Cover picture in very good ++ condition with some light wear (mostly light dirt) due to age (can probably be cleaned). Three inches of the top and bottom seams are taped by transparent tape.

The record is in VG++ condition and is a U.S. deep groove original pressing from 1955.

This Warhol protrait of Count Basie is interesting as it shows a transition in Warhol's technique from straight portraiting towards his characteristic "blotted line" drawings that made him famous in the mid fifties.
