A VERY RARE GERMAN PRESSING OF "BERLIOZ SYMPHONIE FANTASTIQUE" CHARLES MUNCH, BOSTON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, LM-1900-A, RCA RED SEAL, HIGH FIDELITY VINYL RECORD!
Vinyl is in Near Mint condition with no signs of use or wear; no scratches or scuffs; ; CLEAN & BRIGHT; plays amazingly; sounds more like a Living Stereo version then a mono! The vinyl is stamped with an embossed 'Manufactured in Germany' stamp; label is NM-, bright and vibrant!
Album cover is a soft paper sleeve as opposed to the rigid cardboard used in the US pressings as well as a full high gloss cover; one of the earliest I have ever seen. It is in VG condition with moderate shelf wear and some light corner wear as well as some very minor creases and signs of ring wear; psychedelic image of a Berlioz painting by Jane Sinnickson on the cover; bright and vibrant colors!
I have not seen one of these German pressings for sale before and can not find another one of its kind; notice the different RCA logo on the top right as well as the -A following the LM-1900. Also, the record removes from the top as opposed to the typical side removal on the US pressings.
A true audiophile treat!
