1955 John Lennon original Quarry Bank High School photo
A scarce original black and white photograph of Quarry Bank High School For Boys in Calderstone, Liverpool. The photograph was taken in July 1955 features a very young John Lennon stood in the third row from the top directly above the word 'Quarry'. The photo measures 40 by 8 inches and will come rolled (as it's been stored). In very good condition with a couple of vertical creases towards the left edge. There are a few smaller wrinkles to the edges and age toning to the central part of the photograph. This photo came from the estate of The Late Peter ‘Pistol Pete’ Shotton, who of course played with John in his first ever band, The Quarrymen.
