Description
If you're looking at this item, you know just how special it is. This is an excellent example of a 60+ year old jazz rarity - the 1956 Mono first pressing of Blue Note's Jutta Hipp at the Hickory House, Vol. 1. RVG BN-LP-1515-A and ear in the dead wax. It's just received a deep ultrasonic cleaning using professional equipment and plays crisp and clean.
Sonically, this album will not disappoint. Within the first few seconds, you will be transported to a bygone era where the soft-voiced German transplant Jutta Hipp displays her immense talent for the piano along with Peter Ind on bass and Ed Thigpen on drums. It's a beautiful album and will make a terrific addition to your rare jazz collection.
It will come with both a new anti-static inner sleeve and outer protective sleeve. Packaging will be robust. I've done my best to accurately show the disc/sleeve condition in the pictures, but please feel free to contact me with any questions.
