Description

Up for auction is a 1956 Rockabilly 78 by Carl Perkins on Sun label # 243.This is a U.S. 78 and came out on June 16th 1956.Songs titled Boppin' The Blues on one side and has All Mama,s children on the other side.2 outstanding Rockabilly numbers. The Boppin' The Blues side has several light scratches most light with about 18 scratches I can feel with fingernail. Most of the feelable scratches are of the smaller variety.Multiple scuff marks also. The All Mama's Children side has several light scratches with about 20 scratches I can feel with fingernail.Has scuffing also. Both sides have groove wear but they both still have groove shine.I noticed it has a slight 3/4th to 1 inch hairline crack which does not affect play at all as it is very light. Both sides play well.the Boppin' The Blues side plays Terrific with a very light to light background hiss.Nice and clear sound. The All Mama's Children side plays nicely also with a very light background hiss.Has some very light to light ticks at times which is most likely caused by 1 scratch on this side which appears deeper than the rest of the scratches.Still plays nicely. If the buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund on all records I sell.
