Description
This was in a record shop storage for the past fifty years, played a couple of times by me on a high end system only. The owner retired a while back, then after many years told the guy who took over the shop that he had some old stock he could have. I was there the day the boxes were opened, I left with an empty wallet. My list this week is a cherry pick of the best of the jazz, most of it only ever played by me on a good system.
Phil Woods Gene Quill Donald Byrd Kenny Dorham frontline to this Septet, with a rhythm of Flanagan, Watkins and Philly Joe Jones to the cracking date entitled Pairing off - RVG recorded with DG Esquire 026 LP. This will be streets ahead in condition than any other original previouslu offered here on ebay. When I saw this I could not believe my luck when seeing it was still as new after all these years.
This is a clean completely unmarked Near Mint, has clean labels and the sleeve is Excellent also, with a few age related lifts to the laminate near the opening (this always happens after all these years). Rear has no pen, no excess dirt, no bends. Played Near Mint with no audible problems on my moving coil cart.
We pack in custom made corrugated card boxes.
