Description
All of my Elvis collection will be listed for sale on Ebay, bit by bit, as this is an enormous task.
All were purchased new from record shops at point of original issue.
I would add that I am a lifelong Elvis collector, NOT a record dealer
All of my records have been treated with tender loving care since I bought them in the first place.
I am grading my records according to the Record Collector's guidelines as I was told it was an advisable thing to do.
1957 UK issue----Elvis' second studio LP---HMV CLP 1105-------ORIGINAL ISSUE, FIRST PRESSING-------this plays superbly!
The most difficult HMV Elvis LP to obtain
The cover has a yellow background with a picture of a young (obviously) Elvis in black and white with his velvet shirt coloured in purple. The reverse has 4 pictures in B&W a small write up mainly about Elvis's first network telecast in New York.

This album has such great songs, my favorite slow song is 'First in line' and my favorite rockin' song has to be the most underrated Elvis song ever Paralysed----- I just love this song.

Original HMV fully laminated sleeve with WRW at bottom right of back cover
Some creases and wear along the edges and a couple of wide tape repairs, otherwise pretty good, bearing in mind the flimsy sleeves HMV issued in the 1950's-----cover picture is nice and clear as are all the notes on the back cover.
Half moon flapovers on back of sleeve (see scans)
