AMAZING, RARE & WONDERFUL ROCKABILLY...
First off, right up front... I'm not a record dealer. I buy records for myself & have a modest collection, but this is my first eBay listing. I looked at a bunch of finished auctions & record sites and will do my best to provide concise, honest information about this LP. This record (LP 1225) is from SUN RECORD COMPANY and was released in 1957... DANCE ALBUM OF CARL PERKINS. The cover is in very presentable condition although there are some issues... the top seam is split as is the side seam for 9" from the top. If I've read right, these splits can be repaired... There is some surface soiling but no ring marks, on the back, upper right corner is the remnant of the original price sticker. Some wrinkling & chips, but again the overall condition is pretty good. No writing. The record itself is in it's original cover and it is amazing... so bright and shiny it almost looks wet! I have looked at this very carefully... it is damn near flawless. The only thing I could see is on side one, track 2... it looks like a very fine hair is laying on the record (2")... I can barely see it but I cant feel it. I only noticed it because there is nothing else to distract you. Labels are bright & flawless. On the trail off vinyl is the number 250 & a little triangle. Anyway, if you are reading this odds are you are more knowledgeable than I... please ask questions, I'll answer to the best of my ability.
