Description
Here's an original 1958 pressing Rockabilly Promo 45 on Nasco label # 6017.Songs titled Werewolf on one side with the song Midnight Rain on the other side. Both sides play tested. The Werewolf side has a lot of light scratches with about 10 scratches feelable with fingernail. Also has some scuffing and groove wear.Showing some graying on grooves with some black mixed in.Some writing on label including some very light pencil lines on the NASCO logo on both sides. The Midnight Rain side of record has multiple light scratches with about 18 scratches that are feelable with fingernail.About half of the feelable scratches were caused by scuffing at the 9 O'clock to 10 O'clock area of record. One of these scratches causes a light click or light pop about the last 1/3 of song.Side also has some groove wear with a small amount of graying.Still has decent shine on grooves. Also has writing on label. Both sides play tested and play as follows. The Werewolf side has a crackly background at very beginning for about 10 seconds until song becomes heavier and louder. Then plays good with very light background hiss.I heard 2 areas, one near middle of song and one near end which sounded a little distorted for a few seconds only.Great Rockabilly Monster song. The Midnight Rain side plays with a very light to light background hiss with a very light crackle at times.Softer song which has that light click, light pop for last 1/3 of song. This song is good but the Werewolf song is great.Someone has posted these on youtube if you want an idea of the way the songs sound. If buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund on all records I sell.
