Description
Scarce 1958 private-press LP issued by Gabriell Records of Portland, Oregon, featuring Finnish violinist Heimo Haitto performing solo and chamber works. Side 1 includes Bach’s Chaconne and Haendel’s Passacaglia with cellist Beverly Lebeck. Side 2 features sacred and folk selections with pianist Aimee Wirkkala, including I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked, Finnish Folksongs, and Nobody Knows the Trouble.
This copy includes the original printed sleeve, signed by Heimo Haitto with a personal inscription. The signature matches known examples from prior verified sales. Even with sleeve damage, the original signed sleeve adds significant collector value.
