Description

Audiophile Week here at 33anda3rd!. Lots of Speakers Corner, Recuts, 180 gram pressings and early SXL's and other 60's stereo.

1959 Blue Silver SAX 2328 Hans Richter Haaser plays the Brahms 2nd Piano Concerto with Karajan. Triple Signed 1st pressing, Richter Haaser for some reason lost in the mists of time now signed the sleeve front, the inner sleeve and the 1st side label. Did he take a shine to the requester?, was he unused to signing autographs, was there a language barrier? No idea, but the photos show all three quite clearly. The 1st is under his name to the sleeve front, the largest is on the inner sleeve, and the third is above the word Stereophonic across the diameter of the label. Actually, the shiny laminated cover might be a clue to this, as the surname final "Haaser" is a little blurred. Maybe he as a bit of a perfectionist, and tried again across the label, then finding this a hard and shiny surface for a ballpoint, so then flourished across the normal paper of the inner. (Note one other signed by him this week)

A nice enough big stereo corner rarity at the best of times, but now presumably the one to have in a quality early stereo or great pianists record collection.

This record is Near Mint, playing Near Mint, in a Near Mint sleeve (small white on white sticker scar bottom rear),record is not warped, labels are clean apart obviously from the signature.

Many top notch Violin, Piano & early stereo rarities in my list this week..

Free anywhere air postage.
