Description
From a single cherished collection of an owner of a stupendous high end audio system - large collection nothing played too much, not a scratch between them.
ORIGINAL ANALOGUE RECORDING from 1959 Stereophonic 1st labels Count Basie: Breakfast Dance and Barbecue featuring Joe Williams. Those nice all valve stereo cut Uk Columbia SCX labels with the resultant warmth on quieter surfaces than the US press. AMG said: The
Count Basie Orchestra is heard on this album playing live at a disc-jockey convention in Miami. Their first of
three sets took place at 2 a.m. but the late hour if anything kept the band loose. Most of the selections on this
record were not recorded during that era, including fine charts on Ellington's "In a Mellow Tone" and "Moten
Swing." A great session that captures their live excitement in big stereo sound. £15 and it is fully near mint vinyl in an excellent sleeve (white area is just my flash or room light).
record in lovely Near mint condition and sleeve is Excellent.
