Description
Wow, this vintage Jazz Lp is in overall COLLECTOR CONDITION. This is a 1959 12" MONO Capitol Records re-release of jazz vocalist June Christy's " Something Cool " (T 516). This is the version with June's eyes open on the jacket cover and the Capital logo to the left on the black with colorband logo. The vinyl still in the original Capitol inner sleeve does not show signs of past play. A test play of entire record confirms the condition of the vinyl as a strong Near Mint (NM) using Goldmine standards. This vinyl produces just an amazing MONO sound throughout.
The outer jacket is very clean with a crisp and legible side seam and some softening at corners and a very small chip on top seam near upper right edge. The cover is beautiful and would be a top candidate for framing if one is so inclined. The back cover is very nice with some light stains, fading and with 3 small older past resale stickers from many years ago with a stamping on upper right that says " All Sales Final ". We rate this outer jacket as a EX.
The vinyl within the inner sleeve will be separated from jacket during shipment to help guard against seam damage to the outer jacket.
