Description

Here’s a nice Japanese made copy of a Hofner violin bass! The brand name on this is “Melody Plus”, and I believe it dates from the 1960s. The bass is in working order, the pickups are tested and working. The finish is beautiful and shiny, though with some wear due to age. The saddle looks to be made out of wood and looks homemade- the bass came to me this way. There is a small crack in the plastic ring that holds the neck pickup, however the pickup still holds in place just fine. The bass will be shipped with the neck removed to reduce the length of the box and thus shipping costs. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: This package is too big to ship to Canada, Mexico and South America, and possibly a few other countries as well.
