Description

Up for sale is a 1962 Roy Haynes Quartet (featuring Roland Kirk, Henry Grimes & Tommy Flanagan) "Out of the Afternoon" A-23 Mono Vinyl LP Jazz Record Album. This album was obtained from an estate & it's been sample tested and it seems to play well.  I'm not a collector or vinyl expert, but will describe it as best as I can!  Album looks to be a first pressing, Rudy Van Gelder,  Impulse! label.

Album looks to be in clean condition, there are a few scratches & small dirty spots noted; it also has some light dust/fingerprints/smudges & could use a cleaning. Cover of the jacket is in good condition showing some light edge/corner wear. Inside of the gatefold has some slightly dirty/darkened areas & there's a handwritten # at the top; there's also a tear on the inside seam, that does not go all the way through (can't see it from the outside of the jacket). The backside of the jacket has some scratches & faint album imprint marks, and there's an area near the bottom that looks to be paint spots (not exactly sure). The paper sleeve (ABC Paramount Records) has some darkening/discoloration on the edges & some small tears on the open side; there's also a separation in the center of one of the seams.

Runout / Dead Wax Markings:

* Side 1:  A-23-A, LW, Van Gelder stamp

* Side 2:  A-23-B, LW, Van Gelder stamp
