Tonight and tomorrow evening I have at auction a number of THE BEATLES UK original 45’s mainly first pressings and all in EX to “Nr. Mint” condition.

The first of my auction is for THE BEATLES very first 45 this being “LOVE ME DO” / “P. S. I LOVE YOU” on the PARLOPHONE label (red labels) No. 45-R 4949.
Labels display “Recording first published text”
Matrix Nos. 7XCE 17144/45 stampers; MP 1 GL & MP1 GL, ZT tax code stamped at 9-00 O’clock on both labels.

Other than a tiny light surface mark, vinyl is in “EX++” condition .
Labels nice and clean no scratches or writing just light spindle marks.
Overall a lovely example of their very first record.
