VINYL CONDITION: STRONG G+ * Vinyl is Still Shiny retaining most all it's Orig. luster. It has light scuffs and hairline scratches from being played. You can't feel scratches any with your finger, they are seen mostly under a strong light. They hardly at all sound when played but for an occasional "pop" in just a couple spots. It does have some light surface noise but that is heard mostly between tracks only. I listened to it all the way through and it played and sounded very good on both sides with NO skips! It actually plays closer to VG- but I'm staying on the safe side with my grading. It's an Enjoyable Listen all the way through.
Vinyl still plays with Incredible Fidelity and Mono "punch"!
The Rainbow VJ label (w/ The Beatles above the spindle hole) looks great showing only some light spindle hole wear (see pics)
JACKET CONDITION: G+ * Original Jacket (w/ George's Shadow on right) Still looks Good+ all-around. Jacket's Front shows some shelf wear near the bottom and on the right side and the corner tips are dulled Back cover an aging "spot" in the bottom left corner and the remnants of someone's name in the top left corner. Back cover is still white and Fully readable. Seams show shelf wear but no splits. The spine is still readable. Jacket has NO cut-out marks.
NOTES: THIS IS A RARE 1963 VJ RECORDS 1st EDITION VERSION 1 PRESSING WITH "LOVE ME DO" & P.S. I LOVE YOU WHICH WERE QUICKLY DELETED AND CHANGED TO 2 OTHER SONGS. VINYL STILL PLAYS WITH EXCELLENT FIDELITY AND MONO "PUNCH".
DEADWAX HAS AN "AUDIO MATRIX" PRESSING PLANT STAMP ON BOTH SIDES.
THE RECORD IS NOT PERFECT, THE JACKET LOOKS FINE BUT DOES SHOW WEAR AND THE VINYL HAS BEEN PLAYED BUT STILL IS AN ENJOYABLE LISTEN ALL THE WAY THROUGH.
IT'S DEFINITELY WORTHY TO FIT INTO YOUR COLLECTION IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE AND THIS VERSION IS VERY TOUGH TO FIND!
